Mt Vernon installation

I thought this photo might be of interest as most of you probably didn't make it down to see this installation. I thought it was brilliant and well executed. Materials were considered wisely and it ended up being an engaging, thought provoking artistic moment for the neighborhood. I'm talking about the sign not the fence.

As someone directly responsible for the exhibition as well as dedicated to the artist Lee Freeman, the overwhelmingly negative response from the dog walkers of Mount Vernon prove that he achieved his goal, "to encourage people to cherish and appreciate their city park." The outrageous spontaneous outcropping of responsive artworks placed this sign on HIS fence, and installed a DO NOT CROSS tape around parts of the MICA campus (nearly seven blocks away.)
