Taco Bag

I found some cool food bags at my paper store of choice in Brunswick, Ohio. I made scans if you are interested and I have a few real bags for those inclined to own actual Mexican food ephemera.

Whats going on here?

The States

Like Sufjan Stevens, this designer is creating work dedicated to each of the 50 states—only by way of very cool illustrations, rather than songs. I love this one, and can't wait to see what he does with Tennessee.

Ellen's house . . .

. . . is on design*sponge! It's very cool, of course, and I'm insanely jealous of her Blow Up poster:

Mystery Book Drop

Check out this link to Book Crossing. It's this very cool international catch and release/scavenger-hunt book thing that I found out about over the break. You can either register any book you are done with on the site, then leave it somewhere a new reader might be able to find it (park bench, a cubby in some coffee shop, etc); or, you can go to the link for your city and see what free books are out and about for you to find. It's a fun, nifty, sneaky thing to do, and I thought y'all might get into it:

Book Thing

This book about Jane Pauley is probably my new favorite find—it's so ugly and ridiculous it's almost cool . . . almost

From Morocco with Love

I received an interesting email from a friend of mine in Morocco in which he encouraged me to "leave MICA now and come to Fes to finish studying design and type." I'm not sure if this is what studying design is like in Fes or if this is what I'd be designing.

This is, well, there honestly aren't words to describe this video my brother sent me. Just click the pic and give it a look.
